Minister says Russia spends 3.6 bln rbl daily on COVID fight

MOSCOW, Oct 19 (PRIME) -- Russia has been spending about 3.6 billion rubles per day lately because of the growth of COVID contagion, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said on Tuesday.

"We used to spend about 2 billion rubles per day on average in a normal situation, now there is a special situation, soaring contagion, 3.6 billion rubles per day." Siluanov said.

He added that it is unacceptable to have any problems with planned healthcare even in the current situation.
